Sculpture Park set in the scenic Mahana vineyard
Throughout the Mahana Estates property, we feature a number of art installations which can be visited by guest.
Sculptures located on the grounds include Marté Szirmay’s magnificent ‘Yantra for Mahana’, which stands over seven metres tall at the winery entrance, and Andrew Drummond’s ‘Cascade’ on the courtyard outside the tasting room.
Visible from the courtyard are the striking ‘Vertical Spinning Form’, also by Andrew Drummond, and Christine Boswijk’s ‘Totems for a Vineyard’, which form part of Glenn Schaeffer’s art collection at Inside The Cellars on the ground floor of the winery (available to view by appointment) are Bill Culbert’s neon installation Seven Cs and Neil Dawson’s ‘Mahana Dome’. Also in The Cellars are two superb tapestries by American artist Ed Moses, and four pieces by Auckland painter Noel Ivanoff.
